Colter is now three weeks old, and we all still love him to pieces. Even after a really long night of fussing (thank goodness for the swing). At his two week appointment, Colter weighed in at a wopping 6 lbs. 12 ozs. Most of his clothes are still too big, which is not what I expected considering that both Tanner and Dallin were over ten pounds before they hit the one month mark.
Colter still sleeps much of the time, but of course he always knows when it is time to eat. I am learning to deal with a non-scheduled life, which for those of you who know me, know that I like things scheduled. However, I would not trade this experience for anything. I thouroughly enjoy our little guy, and I am much more of a relaxed parent then I was with Tanner and Dallin. That could be that I am older, or that being married to Chris helps me to be more relaxed.
In the last week.... Colter has been able to take a real bath rather then a sponge bath, which he seems to enjoy---he doesn't scream and cry like he did with the sponge bath. He cries less when we change his diaper, and he stays awake for longer periods of time. It really is amazing how quickly they can change in just one day. I am looking forward to his first smile.
Now if I can just get a good nights sleep, and get to the gym on a regular basis, my life would be perfect. Haha!

Don't you still have 3 weeks to relax? Don't rush it. Enjoy the time. Do you need me to come take Dallin and Tanner so you can sleep when Colter sleeps? I will. You know that.
Oh, and he is a really cute baby. He's so tiny. When Chris is holding him in that picture below he seems soooooooo tiny.
Oh! He is so adorable! I bet he will start gaining weight rapidly soon enough! I am glad he is still tiny so I can come cuddle your little newborn because as you know they grow out of that so quickly! It was always hard for me to sleep when Cohen slept and this next time around it will be even harder since Cohen will keep me running to. How did you do it when your kids were both so little? I am going to make it over there one of these days! See ya soon! Good luck sleeping!
SUCH A CUTE BLOG! I love all your pictures. I am glad that you are enjoying the sweet baby, I can't wait to squeeze him. The girls and I are in Texas at my parents and we will go to Buffy's soon.
We still need to look at fabric for a baby bundle for you! I love you all!
